Important Details

Account Statements

You may receive multiple accounts statements for the month of May.

Account Numbers

Your deposit and loan account numbers will remain the same. Also, Manasquan Bank acquired Metuchen Bank’s routing number therefore clients can continue to use their current checking and money market checks and deposit tickets until they run out. When you reorder through the Bank, your new checks will have Manasquan Bank’s Logo and routing number, which is 221272167.

Certificates Of Deposit (CDs)

Your existing CD rates, terms and conditions will remain in effect through the first maturity date after the conversion. Prior to the CD maturing, Manasquan Bank will mail the client a CD maturity notice reflecting Manasquan’s new terms and conditions.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

Your existing IRA rates, terms and conditions will remain in effect through the first maturity date after the conversion. If a client has a recurring scheduled distribution from their IRA at Metuchen Bank, it will continue as scheduled at Manasquan. IRA distribution checks are issued on a particular date selected by the client. Please note that Manasquan Bank is the new trustee of record.

Direct Deposits And Withdrawals

If you are enrolled in direct deposit or automatic withdrawals, your transactions will continue to post as they normally do. You will not experience any changes.

ATM/Debit Cards

As previously indicated, your current Metuchen Bank Visa Debit and/or ATM card will be replaced by a Manasquan Bank MasterCard Debit and/or ATM card. Upon receipt, you will be able to activate your new card by calling 1-800-992-3808. On May 20th, you will be able to start using your new Manasquan Bank MasterCard Debit and/or ATM card to access your accounts.

Checks

You can continue to use Metuchen Bank checks after the conversion. Once you run out of your existing supply, you can order additional checks by calling or visiting your local branch, or online at Manasquan.bank.

Online Banking

After 5:00PM on May 17th, Metuchen Bank’s Online Banking will be disabled. On May 20th, you will be able to access Manasquan Bank’s Online Banking system at Manasquan.bank. Log in using your existing access ID and password. You will be prompted to change your password.

Online Bill Pay

After 5:00PM on May 17th, Metuchen Bank’s Online Bill Pay will be disabled. On May 20th, you will be able to access Manasquan Bank’s Online Bill Pay. All Bill Pay payee information will be transferred within Manasquan Bank’s Online Bill Pay and scheduled payments will resume.

Mobile Banking

After 5:00PM on May 17th, Metuchen Bank’s Mobile Banking App will be disabled. On May 20th, you will be able to access Manasquan Bank’s Mobile Banking App. The Manasquan Bank Mobile Banking App is available, free, for iPad and iPhone devices through the iTunes App Store, and for Android phones and tablets through Google Play. Log in using your existing access ID and password. You will be prompted to change your password.

Quicken / Quickbooks

If you download your Metuchen Bank financial information into your Quicken or QuickBooks personal finance software, you may continue to do so with Manasquan Bank’s Business Online Banking Direct Connect. Once you are in QuickBooks, you will see Manasquan Bank Business Direct in the list of banks when setting up a bank feed.

Loan Payments

As of May 20th there will be three ways to make a loan payment:

1.) Pay online using the “Make a Loan Payment” option under the ‘I Want To’ navigation on the Manasquan Bank website.

2.) Mail your payment:

3.) Make a payment at any branch.
4.) Please update your bill pay records to reflect payee Manasquan Bank.

BANK-BY-PHONE

On May 20th, you can begin to use Manasquan’s Bank-By-Phone service. You can access your accounts by dialing 1-844-626-2265, select option 3. Your password will automatically be set to the last 4 digits of your social security number.

FDIC Coverage During An Acquisition

Manasquan Bank is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The FDIC provides separate insurance coverage for deposits that are acquired following a merger. Your deposit accounts from Metuchen Bank will continue to be separately insured for six months following the merger date, April 1, 2019, and longer in the case of Certificate of Deposit (CD) accounts.

Non-time deposits (for example, checking, passbook savings, and MMDA accounts) acquired by a bank are separately insured for six months after the date of the merger.

Time deposits (for example, certificates of deposit) acquired by a bank are separately insured until the earliest maturity date or six months after the merger date, whichever occurs later, subject to the following rules:

Time deposits that mature within the first six months and are renewed for the same dollar amount (with or without accrued interest added to the principal amount) and for the same term as the original deposit are separately insured until the first maturity date after the expiration of the six-month period.

Time deposits that mature within the first six months and are renewed on any other basis, or time deposits that mature within the first six months and are not renewed and thereby become regular savings or demand deposits, are separately insured until the end of the six-month period.

Tax Reporting

Manasquan Bank will be reporting and issuing 1098, 5498 and 1099 IRS forms for the full year of 2019.
