Your benefits will depend on the type of IRA that you choose:
- Traditional IRA – This savings plan is authorized by the federal government. It’s designed to help you accumulate tax-deferred funds for retirement.
- Roth IRA – With this IRA, your funds are non-deductible, but all withdrawals, including earnings, are tax-free if the account has been open for at least five years and the account holder is at least 59.5 years old.
- Steady Earner – This 18-month certificate offers a strong rate of return to steadily increase your balance. Deposits of $25 are allowed at any time.
- Market Pacer – Another 18-month certificate, this option requires a minimum balance of $25 to start and offers a strong variable market rate. Deposits of any size can be made according to your schedule.
