Manasquan Savings Bank Kicks Off 2015 Foundation Grants with Breakfast Event

January 23, 2015

Manasquan Savings Bank, a community bank headquartered in Wall Township, brought community businesses and organizations together for its first quarterly meeting of 2015. The breakfast event was a chance for community members to learn more about Manasquan Savings Bank’s philosophy for the future and commitment to its partners. The meeting was very collaborative, as participants had the opportunity to interact with Mr. James S. Vaccaro, President and CEO of the Bank, and ask questions regarding their products and services.

Jim Vaccaro led the morning’s event with an overview of the business and various cultural opportunities the Bank and its Foundation hope to be able to impact during 2015. To support the major initiatives of their non-profit and business partners, the bank plans to “provide the stimulus for growth through its lending, depository and community-based activities,” according to Mr. Vaccaro.

Manasquan Savings Bank plans to continue to grow from its current asset base of over $900 million through additional delivery channels coupled with technology-based solutions. Additionally, in 2014, nearly two-thirds of transactions took place electronically. Manasquan Savings Bank already has several new developments in the works, which include plans to launch a mobile business application later this year.

Mr. Vaccaro called attention to the newly operational Manasquan Bank Charitable Foundation, an initiative formed in July 2014, which has now begun to provide grant support to qualified applicants. Organizations with 501 (c) (3) or other non-profit status who are interested in this opportunity can download an application here.

Notably, at the breakfast event, those receiving an annual grant from the foundation included Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth & Middlesex Counties, Jersey Shore Dreams, Childhood Leukemia Foundation, The M. Daniel Regan Charitable Foundation, and the Bay Head Improvement Association.

In addition to the quarterly meetings, Manasquan Savings Bank holds a town hall-style meeting for its existing customers, as well as potential business customers, each month after hours at a rotating branch location. Contact your local branch manager to learn more.
