WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ (November 4, 2022) – Manasquan Bank is pleased to announce that Erica Connor, Assistant Vice President, Human Resources Manager, and Natalie Valverde, Vice President, Commercial Loan Operations Supervisor are recipients of the 2022 NJBankers Rising Star Award. The Rising Star Award recognizes emerging banking professionals who make a significant impact on their respective financial institutions by demonstrating strong leadership and service skills.

Erica Connor joined Manasquan Bank in 2016 as HR Specialist: From inspiring new ideas to enhancing benefits and the employee experience, Erica is committed to driving change. Today, as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources Manager, Erica is tasked with building and engaging the workforce. A member of the NJBanker’s DE&I Council, a working group that is committed to helping create a more diverse and inclusive banking community, Erica is passionate about bringing those values and perspectives into the workplace by directing the Bank’s DE&I initiatives. A Rutgers University graduate, she is a dedicated CREW Cares volunteer and serves for many community organizations, including the Girls Scouts, PTA/Boosters association, and teaches religious education at her local church.
Natalie Valverde, who has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Post University, serves as Vice President, Commercial Loan Operations Supervisor. Since joining the bank in 2010 as a part time receptionist, Natalie’s professional growth has been tremendously impressive. Presently as Commercial Loan Operations Supervisor, Natalie is responsible for managing the department and implementing new projects and procedures that assist in departmental transformation.
