Manasquan Bank has earned a spot among the Best Banks to Work For in 2019, joining a national list of leading financial institutions demonstrating a commitment to company culture and employee engagement. Out of the 85 financial institutions recognized, Manasquan Bank was ranked the 43rd Best Bank to Work For, which was also the #1 ranked financial institution for of all New Jersey.
Initiated in 2013 by American Banker and Best Companies Group, the Best Banks to Work For program identifies, recognizes and honors U.S. banks for outstanding employee satisfaction. Full results of this year’s program are available at American Banker online and in the September 2019 issue of American Banker Magazine.

Determining the Best Banks to Work For involves a two-step process. The first is an evaluation of participating companies’ workplace policies, practices, and demographics. In the second step, employee surveys are conducted to directly assess the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. 75% of the results consist of direct responses from employees and just 25% of the results consist of responses from employers. The combined scores determine the top banks and the final ranking.

Best Companies Group managed the registration and survey process, analyzing the data and applying their expertise to determine the final ranking. The program is open to commercial banks, thrifts, savings banks and other chartered retail financial institutions with at least 50 employees in the U.S.
