Manasquan Bank’s Angela Whitfield to Receive NJBankers Emerging Leaders Rising Star Award
WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ (October , 2019) - Manasquan Bank is proud to announce that Angela Whitfield, the Assistant Retail Branch Manager of our Manahawkin branch, has been named as a recipient of the 2019 NJBankers Emerging Leaders Rising Star Award.
Whitfield joins only 19 other banking professionals across New Jersey to receive the honor, which recognizes those, banking professionals, under the age of 40 who make a significant impact on their respective financial institutions by demonstrating strong leadership and service.
After joining Manasquan Bank in 2016 as a part-time teller and, subsequently, a full-time teller, Whitfield was promoted to Universal Banker Supervisor in 2018 and promoted again in 2019, to Assistant Retail Branch Manager of the Bank's new Manahawkin branch. Whitfield has earned the respect of her peers by being a confident, passionate and inspiring team leader. She empowers her team to succeed and always takes time to celebrate 'wins', both big and small. Whitfield is a proud member of the Bank's New Wave Advisory Panel, a panel designed to tap into the insights and expectations of the millennial and upcoming generations. In addition, Whitfield volunteers at the Fulfill Food Bank and is a new member to the Stafford Chamber of Commerce and Save Barnegat Bay organizations.
