Residents in Manasquan, N.J. and the surrounding area are invited to Manasquan Bank’s 4th Annual Community Day on Saturday, Oct. 21 (rain date Sunday, Oct. 22) at Squan Plaza in downtown Manasquan from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The festival is a family-friendly event completely free to the public, with a wide range of attractions including carnival games, pony rides and plenty of other amusements, plus food and refreshments. The Manasquan Bank management team will once again be manning the grills, serving up hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, chicken and more. Live radio and music will be provided courtesy of 106.3 Thunder and 107.1 The Boss, who will both be on site giving away prizes of their own.
With autumn in the air, Community Day also offers a dose of fall fun. Those who are feeling artistic can head over to the pumpkin painting station or any one of several other fall craft sessions.
Most importantly, Community Day gives residents a chance to come together, enjoy each other’s company and make a positive impact in the local community. Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring canned food donations to benefit the Manasquan Food Pantry. Learn more on the organization’s website at www.manasquanfoodpantry.org.
“Community is ingrained in every aspect of Manasquan Bank,” said James S. Vaccaro, the bank’s president and CEO. “We are always looking for ways to give back to the communities we serve, which is why Community Day has grown from an anniversary celebration to an annual festival that locals look forward to each and every fall. We hope everyone comes out and has a wonderful time with fellow residents, entertainers, vendors and the Manasquan Bank team.”
Community Day began in 2014 as a celebration of Manasquan Bank’s 140th anniversary and has stuck every year since. We are excited to carry this new tradition into its fourth year!
