Manasquan Bank awarded more than $17,000 in grants to not-for-profit organizations in the first quarter of 2017, continuing the bank’s long history of supporting the local community.
On Thursday, February 16th, 11 organizations received grants from the Manasquan Bank Charitable Foundation, a private foundation that provides funding to local New Jersey non-profit groups, institutions, schools and other civic organizations. Ten of the recipients attended a celebratory breakfast that morning at Manasquan Bank’s Wall, N.J. headquarters. Each organization had the opportunity to share its story with the group and network with Manasquan Bank personnel from various departments.
“Giving back to the community is a cornerstone of the Manasquan Bank culture,” said Manasquan Bank President and CEO, James S. Vaccaro. “For us, the act of awarding a grant goes well beyond the monetary donation but more importantly speaks to our genuine appreciation for organizations that are doing meaningful work here in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.”
