Being a community means taking care of your own. In Monmouth and Ocean Counties, an unfortunate reality is that far too many of our own still worry over where their next meal will come from. In fact, 1 in every 10 people in Monmouth and Ocean Counties require “emergency” food from local pantries, soup kitchens and related agencies.
To help those in need, all Manasquan Bank branches will be collecting donations from now until Wednesday, Sept. 2nd to support Hunger Action Day, a special day of fun and service hosted by The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We’re calling on the Manasquan Bank community to help us support this important initiative in three big ways:
Make a Donation – during your next visit to a Manasquan Bank branch
Volunteer – at Hunger Action Day! Contact The FoodBank to schedule your time. We’re sending two teams during the day to pitch in.
Share on Social – to help spread the word about Hunger Action Day (Thurs, 9/3)
All are welcome to come, enjoy, and help make a difference. The day’s activities will include:
*Volunteers are asked to please wear closed-toe shoes in our warehouse.
So donate today, spread the word, and come join us for Hunger Action Day:
