Manasquan Bank, a community bank headquartered in Wall Township, N.J., has announced its newest personnel addition, Bay Head Branch Manager, Laura Doherty.
Doherty will lead the Bay Head location in place of former manager, Mary Guetzlaff, who recently announced her retirement after sixteen years with the organization.
“We are pleased to welcome Laura to our team. In addition to her distinguished career and credentials, she is a longtime local resident who understands Manasquan Bank’s large role in New Jersey’s coastal communities,” said Bruce Oswald, Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer. “Mary actually used to work with Laura and feels that Laura is an excellent fit to replace her. This is a perfect transition as we wish Mary a happy and healthy retirement.”
Doherty joins Manasquan Bank having held previous management positions with PNC Bank and Bank of America in the Shore region. She has a long track record of dynamic leadership and results in highly competitive markets, and brings a diverse skill set encompassing retail banking management, business development, customer relations and performance consulting.
Doherty resides in Point Pleasant with her husband, Bill. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends, and is a supporter of numerous local organizations such as the Carmie Brady Foundation. She is looking forward to becoming an active member of the Bay Head Business Association and Rotary Club of Point Pleasant Boro.
