As Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Michael Malloy is responsible for the direction of all financial activities including but not limited to treasury, accounting, asset and liability management, tax, and financial control activities. In addition to further bolstering the Bank’s executive leadership team, he also represents the bank on financial matters with industry, governmental, and regulatory organizations.
Malloy joined the Bank in 2018 from Big Four audit and tax firm KPMG, where he spent 10 years in the New York Financial Services Audit Practice. Malloy managed full-scope financial statement and integrated audits including strategy, research, fieldwork, review and reporting. He was also involved in the development of cognitive audit tools, internal performance reviews, recruiting and community service. Malloy’s primary focus at KPMG was on regional and community banks headquartered in New Jersey.

Prior to his most recent tenure as Senior Manager of Auditing (Financial Services) at KPMG, Malloy served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Colonial American Bank, and, previously, Director of Financial Reporting at Northfield Bank. He began his career with KPMG, working there for six years before pursuing these opportunities and eventually returning to the firm.

Malloy earned a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University and a Master’s in Accountancy and Professional Consultancy from Villanova University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey, maintaining an affiliations with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
