MANASQUAN BANK’S DAYS OF GIVING DONATION PROGRAM RAISED MORE THAN $11K IN ITS SECOND YEAR
WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ (September 21, 2022) – Manasquan Bank and their community supporters across Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean counties rallied together to donate over $11,000 to non-profits during the Bank’s Second Annual Days of Giving donation event. The 2022 non-profit recipients included Mercy Center, Coastal Habitat for Humanity, Common Ground Relief Center, First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen, and the Greater Food Pantry of Tuckerton.
Throughout the 5-day event, the Bank encouraged participants to visit one of their 15 branch locations to exchange their loose coins, free of charge. The Bank calculated and donated 15% of each transaction total, while participants kept their entire redemption amount. Participants also had the option to donate all or a portion of their counted coins or make a separate monetary donation.
“Manasquan Bank has a long history of commitment and contribution to the communities we serve,” said James S. Vaccaro, the Bank’s Chair, President, and CEO. “And we are filled with gratitude and admiration for our neighbors, friends and colleagues who joined together to make our Days of Giving donation event a success”.
Days of Giving was introduced in 2021 as an opportunity to invite those who share the bank’s passion of building a stronger community. Days of Giving is held during the week leading up to Community Day, an annual event that began in 2014 as a celebration of Manasquan Bank’s 140th anniversary and has continued every year since.
