Residents in Manasquan, N.J. and the surrounding areas are invited to Manasquan Bank’s 3rd Annual Community Day on Saturday, Oct. 22 (rain date Oct. 23) at Squan Plaza in downtown Manasquan from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The festival is a family-friendly event and completely free to the public, with a wide range of attractions. Children can immerse themselves in carnival games, pony rides and plenty of other amusements, while adults can enjoy food and refreshments and an all-around great atmosphere. The Manasquan Bank management team will once again be manning the grills, serving up hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, chicken and more. Music will be provided courtesy of 106.3 Thunder and 94.3 The Point, who will both be on site giving away prizes of their own.
With autumn in the air, Community Day offers its fair share of fall fun. Those who are feeling artistic can head over to the pumpkin painting station, or any one of several other fall craft sessions.
Most importantly, Community Day gives residents a chance to come together, enjoy each other’s company and make a positive impact in the local community. Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring canned food donations to benefit the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties–suggested items can be found on the organization’s website.
“Community is Manasquan Bank’s single most important value,” said James S. Vaccaro, the Bank’s president and CEO. “This is our way of honoring our 142-year history and legacy, celebrating our continued growth as a full-service institution, and thanking our many loyal customers. Community Day may be a relatively new tradition, but it has quickly become one of our favorite events of the year.”
Community Day began in 2014 as a celebration of Manasquan Bank’s 140th anniversary. In 2015, the 2nd Annual Community Day introduced residents to the bank’s newly unveiled branding. With the success of both events, Community Day returns to Squan Plaza for a third straight year Oct. 22 (rain date Oct. 23).
