WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ (March 30, 2020) – The Manasquan Bank Charitable Foundation Inc., an affiliate of Manasquan Bank, today announced a special relief program for those who have been disproportionately impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19). Established in 2014, the Manasquan Bank Charitable Foundation Inc., continues to build on the philanthropic efforts that Manasquan Bank has endeavored to provide to its local communities since 1874.
“Community is Manasquan Bank’s single most important value,” says President and CEO James S. Vaccaro. “By establishing these special reserve funds, we intend to support deserving organizations during this challenging time and deepen our community focus by offering financial assistance. While much is uncertain, we know this to be true, when this is over our community will emerge stronger than ever.”
Together with the Charitable Foundation Inc., Manasquan Bank has set aside reserve funds of $100,000 for additional grants to support the relief needs of local communities. Each grant will be available for up $2,500 that reflect the urgent needs for immediate relief during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The special reserve grants are for available for not-for-profits 501 (c) (3) or other non-profit status organizations that assist in sustaining life and bringing encouragement to those, in their market, who have been overwhelmingly and disproportionately impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19). These organizations provide necessary housing and shelter, finance, transportation, healthcare, food, medicine and basic necessities to the residents of Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean Counties.
