Manasquan Savings Bank, a community bank headquartered in Wall Township, has announced its plans for an upcoming blood drive, in conjunction with the Central Jersey Blood Center, to be held at its Wall, Landmark Place branch.
The blood drive is scheduled to run from 8AM to 1PM on both Thursday, April 16th, and Thursday, August 20th at the bank’s headquarters, 2221 Landmark Place in Wall Township.
Donations made to the Central Jersey Blood Center will help support the needs of area hospitals and medical facilities in the Monmouth and Ocean County areas. There is currently a local shortage of O+/-, B-, A- & AB- blood supplies. Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood, according to the American Red Cross.
To participate, donors must be able to present a signature ID, be 17 years of age or older, weigh at least 120 pounds, and be in good health. A preliminary screening will be conducted for each candidate to ensure blood donor eligibility. For questions and to schedule your appointment, please contact Wanda Kulesa (732) 292-8457.
